i use virgin vie airbrush mousse. not sure if thats classed as cheap brand or premium. but i love it. It is £18 for a little pot which lasts around 6 months. however i always get from ebay can get news ones for £10 inculding postage. the brush i use cost around £10 to apply it but once bought it , then it doesnt' need replacing for a while.
i've used avon , rimmal, no 7, maybelene but vie is the only brand i have used which gives me a realy nice finish.0 -

Hi, which No7 foundation do you use? I like No7 but they have such a large selection of foundations I never know which one is best. I have heard good things about their new tinted moisturiser, have you tried that?0 -
I prefer using a tinted moisturiser in the summer, so would be interested to know what No7 is like.Hi, which No7 foundation do you use? Revlon foundations are fantastic products and very good value, very similar to EL DW (the photoready one) but less harsh on the skin, I also like Maybelline and dd swears by MAC:)Thank you for this site MartinThe time for change has comeGood luck for the future0

I can never get a proper colour match with cheaper ones. The US type brands are always too pink or dark even the lightest shades.
I use Sisley and love it. Now the first one I bought two years ago cost £54! I believe now it costs over £65!!!
But since the first I always go to French ebay and usually get it for under £20. Infact I do random searches and stock pile when I see my shade. One pump does the whole face, lasts all day and does not annoy my roseaca.0 -
I use No.7 intelligent colour its fantastic, I've tried loads (all of them more expensive) & its without doubt the best.
Its light though, not for full on coverage.0 -
I'm currently using Chanel Mat Lumiere which is great. I've been really happy with Mac in the past but I got a little awry when they rejigged their colours a few years back.I also like Clinique.
The cheaper brands often don't have such a good choice in the paler colours and it really makes a big difference if it's too pink for instance on a really pale skin.
DD who is possibly fussiest madam on the planet is using the new Chanel Vitalumiere aqua though the palest shade was out of stock for ages. She also likes Mac .0
