Orange BB Sim in HTC Desire S

Hey guys, I often post here atempting to give advice and I'm in need of my own now
O2 are doing a SICK deal on the HTC Desire S this weekend and as I work there I can basically get them for £7 a month, so needless to say im telling everybody.
Now my sister has an Orange BB sim at the moment, with O2 we let our customers change their data type from say iphone to normal smartphone, blackberry to iphone etc.
I was wondering if this is possible on Orange, ie to make it so she can change her Blackberry data to a regular data plan to use in the Desire S?
She just called them and the guy in the (insert country here) call centre told her no, but I'm not so sure hes right, because every network I have ever been on has done it.
So does anyone on Orange know if I can? Or can an Orange rep enlighten me?
Thanks in advance guys (so far me, my mum and and my sister getting them, thanks for the deal O2 haha)

Hi MisterBrico
It would really depend on what package your sister is on. She may be on a package which includes standard data with the Blackberry service added as an additional bundle, or the package itself may include data for use through the Blackberry APN.
She may be able to change her package, but this could depend on how far she is through her current agreement term. If she wanted to change to a package with a higher monthly cost, she can request to do so at any time. If she wanted to change to a package with a lower cost, she would only be able to do this once she was over halfway through her agreement term.
I hope this helps.
