Maybe code "H" is means "Halfwit"! However its expected from these morons! The valid date is irrelevant do they believe a persons disability disappears after the expiry date? As you say its so easy to just check the Tax disc although the badge is relevant to the person and not the car, so its not always exempt!
Seeing the expiry date is only relevant for LA parking conditions. It shows these maggots simply use any opportunity to slap a invoice on the car.
Pity you wont have the time to give them a wee bit of grief, I am sure you would enjoy it!
I go to a Asda in Toxteth Liverpool over Christmas T&C were working in the car park just controlling the cars no ticketing. [Done a good job actually] I asked the duty manager if they were coming to manage the car park. He said "only if they move the fire station a lot closer"!0 -
The standard T&C signs include the words "Civil Penalty Charge". Not only is this disallowed by the BPA Code of Practice (although that's a waste of time because it would seem that the BPA have granted dispensations in respect of this section. Not that they publish any information identifying which companies are involved or for how long) but T&C will also struggle to find a judge who will that one slip by.
When you go back to the car park - make sure you get some pics of the signs too.My very sincere apologies for those hoping to request off-board assistance but I am now so inundated with requests that in order to do justice to those "already in the system" I am no longer accepting PM's and am unlikely to do so for the foreseeable future (August 2016).
For those seeking more detailed advice and guidance regarding small claims cases arising from private parking issues I recommend that you visit the Private Parking forum on PePiPoo.com0 -

You should NEVER, I repeat NEVER, rely on "Contact Us" options. Always go as high as you can first go. In this case the bloke you want is Andy Clarke - Asda CEO.All aboard the Gus Bus !0 -

And cc Mike Duke CEO of Walmart in the email if you truly want to go to the topExcel Parking, MET Parking, Combined Parking Solutions, VP Parking Solutions, ANPR PC Ltd, & Roxburghe Debt Collectors. What do they all have in common?
They are all or have been suspended from accessing the DVLA database for gross misconduct!
Do you really need to ask what kind of people run parking companies?0 -

I agree the CEO's probably never read them, however their PA,s do and you usually get a response. It worked for me recently with LloydsTSB. The CEO didn't respond, but I received a phone call from the relevant dept the day after the email, after weeks of delay!0
