Parking ticket from Premier Parking Solutions

I had a parking ticket issued on 11th March from Premier Parking Solutions in a private care park. I had overstayed my ticket and hold my hands up but the fine was £100 reduced to £70 if I paid within 7 days. I followed the advice on here and have not paid and have now received a letter saying the fine has gone up to £130. The actual parking ticket was ripped at the corner and I could not read the number that I had to call to pay. Is it worth getting into a discussion with them to say I could not pay because I couldn't read the number or just ignore.

It's not worth communicating with them in any form, as your appeal will be turned down automatically as they do with all invoices, best course of action simply ignore completely.Excel Parking, MET Parking, Combined Parking Solutions, VP Parking Solutions, ANPR PC Ltd, & Roxburghe Debt Collectors. What do they all have in common?
They are all or have been suspended from accessing the DVLA database for gross misconduct!
Do you really need to ask what kind of people run parking companies?0 -
I agree, completely ignore. Totally.make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.0 -

Don't even think about 'holding your hands up'! This isn't a fine or an offence, you don't have to do anything and they have no power to issue penalties at all. Certainly don't contact them - that's just what they want as they then know they have a 'live victim'.
Not only that but in this post alone you've told us who was driving and that you overstayed - just the sort of thing the PPC would love to hear! That's why they pretend to have an 'appeals process' so that people trustingly cough up all sorts of info to help the PPC continue to harass the uninformed.
Read the stickies 'PPC letters, what to Expect' and 'Welcome, Please read before posting' including watching the Watchdog video. Stickies are the top permanent threads on the board:

Relax and breathe, check out the letter-chains whenever you get a letter and instead of worrying about whatever daft amount they have added to the fake 'fine' this week, just play snap until it's the end, game over (you'll miss 'em when they've gone!).
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

No you haven't followed the advice on here!!! And yes I am shouting.
Show us the advice that says...ignore first letter, then come back here when you get another one.
If you had followed the advice from here you wouldn't be posting.
I'm not sure how much clearer the advice can be wrt PPCs...ignore all letters.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why then you're as thick and stupid as the moderators on here - MSE ForumTeam0 -
You decided to ignore the first contact, they wont give up that easy you will receive letters issuing all sorts of threats and misquotes of law. The 2nd 3rd 4th 5th 6th 7th 8th letter are just as irrelevant as the first one was.
If you feel threatened as soon as you open the letter and realise its from them or their cronies don't read it just file it under ignore!0 -
50% of this company is owned by a Richard frederick Cox. His home address is 18 Roborough Avenue, Derriford. Plymouth. PL6 6AQ. For everyone who is being threatened by his staff and subsidiary companies it may be worth writing to him at his home address to raise your concerns!!
As long as the above details are in the public domain you're ok posting htem. IF they are not, then you might have to remove them.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why then you're as thick and stupid as the moderators on here - MSE ForumTeam0 -
