T-mobile sharp practice.
I was dragged into the 21st century last month and got myself a HTC wildfire on a 24 month contract. I pay £15 a month and get 300 minutes, 300 texts and 500mb internet. I'd had a cheapo mobile on PAYG so, instead of having to learn a new mobile number, I arranged to keep my number by getting a PAC code (learned about this on the internet0) The day after my new phone arrived, I phoned T-Mobile, and spoke to a young lady and told her that I needed to keep my old phone number because I run an animal rescue, and lots of people had the number to contact me in emergencies. She told me it was no problem and that within 24 hours, the number would be in operation. She also said that I could have free unlimited texts, minutes or internet just as a welcome to T-mobile. I asked what this would be costing me, and she told me it would not cost a penny. I was delighted so I opted for the minutes.
That was a month ago. Then, this morning, I get a text from T-mobile telling me that my monthly bill is ready, and they'll be taking £56 from my account!!!
I phoned customer services and was informed that it was because I ported my number and that when I'd phoned up to sdupply the PAC number, it would have all been explained to me, and the costs would have been agreed by myself. I told the oung woman that nobody had said anything abut having to pay for it all. Why the heck had I signed up to £15 if I also have to pay for phone calls and texts etc and if indeed it had all been explained to me, why did she imagine I was so upset? I found the woman hard to understand as she had such a heavy Glaswegian accent, but I did understand her telling me that the girl I sopke to would definately have told me about it as she is very good at her job. So, not only am I a fool who can't understand when someone explains that I'll be paying all the first month's charges, but a liar for saying that this had not been explained to me. I then asked to speak to a supervisor and she refused to transfer me. She then put the phone down on me.I still have no idea why, instead of £15 a month, I am being charged £56 but I simply cannot afford this amount of money. What on earth can I do? Nothing was explained to me when I supplied my PAC number, and I don't know what to do next. I wish I'd never taken out this contract now.

Its difficult to advise you because so much is left out. Where were you porting your number from? How long was this introductory minutes/texts offer for? What does your bill say the charges are for?0
