dougens,
Start using your wood burner, a quick ebay search using your own postcode will give you the local going rate for seasoned hard wood logs, usually about £50 per meter cube delivered. Alternatively consider a boat heater for your needs, there are many varieties but a 3kWh Inverter brand will cost about £200.
The liquid is expensive, but cheaper than day rate leccy, however it is capable of heating your whole house from zero to too hot in 15 minutes. If you have a model flying club near to you it becomes an even more attractive proposition as the A1 fuel used by models and even police helicopters is half the price and VAT free.Disclaimer : Everything I write on this forum is my opinion. I try to be an even-handed poster and accept that you at times may not agree with these opinions or how I choose to express them, this is not my problem.
