I've been thinking about getting a contact phone for the first time, weighing up the advantages/disadvantes against PAYG.
I am leaning towards Orange. I see that they do credit checks - Does anyone know how rigerous these are? (My credit rating isnt great - but on the other hand its not totally terrible).
Secondly - i saw on one of the mobile comparision sites that a certain O2 deal was giving free unlimited WiFi - i presumed WiFi was always free is this not the case?

You never know until you try and I think this depends on the deal you want.
'3' are known to be the most lenient.

What you presume is correct for home (and office). Elsewhere some hotspots are free, but the majority are not.
What they mean is that you will be able to use some hotspots not opened to everyone.
