Phones4u why so slow at processing an order

I did another thread about dialaphone on how slow they were doing an order, waited a few days and having no patience I cancelled!
Then dialaphone said, well you passed the credit check with 02:o

So now went to p4u, well over a day and no word, really sorry now I've bothered. Why so long, surely they send my details and a credit check is done?

Thing is 02 direct do not have the Blackberry Curve 8250 in white LOL

Anyone else had this wait?

Hello again - when was the order placed with phones4u?
If you order late in the day - say after 4pm, expect to allow 2 days to arrive.
If its before 4pm, you could reasonably expect it to arrive next working day. Probably turn up tomorrow.
If no sign say by noon, just give them a quick bell.

It's more complex! I rang and they said it's still going through security checks, this, well over a day ago! Don't understand this company on the processing of orders:eek:

I see - could be anything I guess but most likely its O2 doing their stuff. Despite what I said on other thread, they might be doing the checks again . But look on bright side, you get through it once and order is fulfilled, you won't alway have to go through it again in future.

Blackberry 8520 - throw a gremlin in the wotsit - is that the 3g version?

Just an update really, received an email from phones4u and the order has been successful with 02. Plus having checked my Equifax file 02 have now done 2 credit checks:o Good job I had not had any credit checks in the last 9 months!

Shame with the holidays, you will have to wait till Sat for it arrive or at worst Tuesday next week.

Mmm.well, p4U are waiting for stock, not been my week at all. I was talking on the ''live'' chat system they have. She said she would email me on tuesday with an update!
I went for the basic blackberry, it's a second phone, I have an iphone but I don't see it as a phone, more a mini computer in my bag:p

Well, with two 02 credit checks to my name, hope this order come through.......
