  • I have the same problem, and I wear jeans from next as they aren't too low to show everything off!!!

I hadn't heard of levi's curve jeans but I dont' have a levis shop near me so I doubt I'd be able to take advantage sadly.

Well I promised an update after I'd been to the Levis store to be fitted so here it is.

I'm definitely a "Bold" curve however despite numerous attempts we didn't find a pair of bold curve jeans to suit me. The sales assistant was fab, and honest enough to say she doesn't think Levi's have got it quite right. In a bid to have the jeans nipped in at the waist it's a real struggle for some of us more curvy people to get them beyond our hips.

I also found that some of the styles were stuck at my knees - now I know years of step and spin has given me solid calves but fat knees:eek:

Anyway I abandoned the curve jeans and the sa suggested I bring in an old pair of Levis and they would try to match them to the current non curve range. She was also at pains to point out I was a pretty standard size (14 normally) and not unusual in any way

I'm not sure I'll bother - the staff were great and very helpful with absolutely no sales pressure at all but I may well try John Lewis as they have Miss Sixty and 7 for all mankind (I think).

If only someone would be brave enough to market jeans for small waisted, fat ar**ed women with thunder thighs then they'd make a fortune:D

  • Ive found in the past I could go to dorothy perkins and get a pair of jeans no problem but now I get them and they either sit below the waist or show the world your bum when you bend over! Muffin tops are never a good look :D

The only place I've managed to get decent looking jeans that actually sit above your waist is at new look and BHS!

I've just got a pair from Topshop and they seem to have all different colours and ranges in at the moment. I go there as I'm still have a couple of pairs that fit perfectly from a couple of years ago and wash great as well. I had a pair of Dotty P jeans and they didnt wash well at all :( xx

I buy NYDJ (Not your Daughter's Jeans). These are a great fit with several different styles. You need to buy a smaller size than normal and sometimes even 2 sizes smaller (american sizing I think). They don't come cheap though at around £130:eek:
