  • I wouldn't even think about refunding without first receiving the item back. If you refund first and expect the awkward customer to send the game back afterwards, you could have a long wait.

    I think you will find these are just empty threats, let him bluff away, I'm certain that all his hot air will come to nothing. Offer the refund if he returns it, and just stick to that.

  • Tell him you will refund on receipt of the game back in its original condition, once you have ascertained that your special security mark that you put on all of your items is present on the item you receive.

    I've done this with buyers several times, and all of a sudden the problems they had with the items seem to disappear.

    That's exaclty what I'd do... It sounds like he's trying to blag it!

    He's probably decided he doesn't like the game and that's why he wants a refund!
