02, Dialaphone and Phones4u oh dear!
I wanted a Blackberry Curve in White on 02, but they didn't have it.
So did a Google and I found it on Dialaphone. So went through the application, got an email to say it was received by them.
Then nothing! Day 3 I rang and was told it was a mystery as they couldn't see any processing of it? So today still no word I cancelled the order, got an email later saying I had passed the credit check with 02.
But, an hour prior to this I found the phone on phones4u, so after chatting to an online chat person, he said no reason not to apply with phones4u:o
Went a head and got the usual ''thank you'' for your order.
What I'm worried about now, 02 had passed me for a contract with them, this I didn't know, now will phones4u go and do another 02 credit check?
Will 02's system simply dismiss it? Got myself in a muddle, anyone have knowledge of how 02 will interpret the second application.
As far as I was concerned 02 hadn't done a credit check with the Dialaphone application.
I know quite a waffle, anyone please:o

As dialaphone and phones4u are both the same group, they ought not to need another check being done. In any case, if you passed it first time, you will pass it again.
Quit worrying....just make sure your dialaphone order is confirmed as cancelled.0 -

So 02 wouldn't see something funny in another check?
I don't half worry, I have received a cancellation email from dialaphone.0 -

I would not see any reason why O2 would want to check you out again in the space of a couple of days - it serves little purpose for them to waste time and money on unless you are some sort of serial embazzeler (spelling!). Anyway that is just my opinion - in a similar situation I would not be worried but then I am fantastic and have a brilliant credit history I think....now you got me going .0 -

It will however leave two credit searches for a mobile in the same number of days, and there is a small chance it may lead to future issues.
Why would they do it, because frankly it's probably an automated system and easier to let it be done twice than spend the time on manual intervention to tie the two applications together.0
