Yep the best offers now are 3 and tesco, O2 seem to have priced themselves out with the cheapest option being £20 if you want text and web.0

100 mins and 500 texts is 10.50 not 20
But yeah O2 are idiots there tariff refresh was a joke for both customers and staff >.>0 -
Why 3 and Tesco only?
100m+500M is available for £6 at Chitter Chatter or for £10ish at T-mobile with £80 cashback.
Both are rolling contracts though, not pure PAYG.0 -
Both tesco and 3 will offer unlimited texts and a fairly decent web plan also Giffgaff i failed to mention in that.
For pure text and call plans obviously the likes of asda chitter chatter etc would be better.0 -
text and call and data?bengalknights wrote: »For pure text and call plans obviously the likes of asda chitter chatter etc would be better.
Unlimited browsing and 500Mb downloading is not bad IMO, especially if compared to Simplicity above.
Don't know about asda though.0 -
Got to agree with that, in my opinion O2 are pushing towards the higher spending end of the market as they have GiffGaff to attract those on a budget. They seem to be going more for service than value for money which only really attracts those with a lot of spare money.MisterBrico wrote: »100 mins and 500 texts is 10.50 not 20

Initially I thought the tariffs were a good deal (except for the entry level ones), data bolt-ons including tethering and an MMS allowance is a nice touch to help soften the blow for the prices being rounded up, having data separate from the core allowances does make sense, but as time goes on I think there's more and more room for improvement and there's still an upper limit for how much data you can get.0
