Whats in your capsule wardrobe?

A capsule wardrobe is my dream. In fact I'd like a wardrobe like Einstein's where he had half a dozen of the same shirt, and half a dozen of the same trousers etc and wore the exact same thing every single day.

However, I'm a teenage girl and people would think that was weird. Dealing with them every day would waste my time and exhaust my patience, so I don't. But one day I'll do it.

In the meantime, I have seven pairs of jeans which are all different, different lengths, different colours, different cuts. I have the basic black, dark blue, lighter blue and grey as well as some in bright colours.

I wear them with seven tops all in bright colours, and seven cardigans all in bright colours. Everything is pretty plain unless it's striped.

Seven is the number of college bags I have too. Again, in bright colours.

I have seven pairs of shoes too, mostly brightly coloured canvas lace ups and Converse.

I plan my outfits out at the weekend for the coming week and having seven of everything means I have an almost endless amount of combinations.

Sometimes I coordinate, but mostly I clash. I always try to mix it up and look different. I never wear the same thing two weeks running.

I have seven different quick and easy things I do with my hair too.

    In the winter I layer.

If I had fewer clothes, my combinations would be more limited and the girls at college would know I wear the same clothes all the time. This many pieces is enough to fool them.

This works well for my every day life, but for any kind of special activity I always have to buy something to wear.

I think most capsule wardrobes are limited in this respect.
