Where to buy Apple Iphone in USA ?

Just a little follow up, I was thinking of buying a wifi-only IPAD when I go to the states next month. Anyone have any experiences of this? Obviously I understand the warranty implications.0

Depends if they have any in stock next month on the ipad front, you may find its not a lot cheaper in the states than it is tax free at the airport, remember any price you see on apple.com will not include local sales tax.
There are no warranty issues as apple warranties are international, they will even give you a nice little card if you ask nicelyLive each day like its your last because one day you'll be right0 -

If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.0

Thats not what they told me in the apple store in san francisco just over a month agoLive each day like its your last because one day you'll be right0

That coupled with the fact that if you try and plug one into a wall to charge it (without spending money on a transformer) you will toast it as well, decided us to buy one here.
they are dual voltage, makes no sense for them to be anything but, make a portable item and not make it dual voltage.
On the warranty, their wording actually states you are covered in the purchasing country or the residency country law if they different so no issues there either.
havent purchased an ipad in the US as yet, bought laptops and ipods before and was there last month and went into the apple store in the afternoon and asked if they had any available and was told not until tomorrow at 9am. but they will be all gone by 9.10 as there will be a queue for them opening.0 -

All exactly the same when I was in Las Vegas last month.
I'm after a 32GB+3G, I know I have to get an AT&T one but I'm not entirely sure what I do about getting a new card etc back in the UK, could anyone explain (in very simple terms!), thanks.0 -

dont get a 3g one you would need to unlock it and get a sim to use it in the UK. easiest solution would be a wifi one and if you need to use it where there is no free wifi try a 3 mifi

Ok seems as though I had a right numpty in Miami. That has annoyed me because I went there wanting to by 2 as they were over £100 cheaper than here. I cannot believe he didn't know, should have gone to the apple store around the corner:mad:The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot.
