Nokia C7 dead - catch 22
About a week ago my new Nokia C7 froze on me while I was accessing a web page. I restarted it and got no further than the white screen. I took it to my local three shop who told me they couldn't send it to be fixed because there is a crack on the screen.
However, they did tell me that it probably needed the software to be reloaded, and that I would be better off getting this done at any high street shop in any case.
I did that, and the phone was fine for a few days, until it suddenly froze again last night, and now it won't start at all. The only sign of life is that the charging light comes on.
Neither of these problems seems to be related to the crack in the screen, so I thought I would get the screen fixed and then I'd be able to get it fixed under the guarantee.
The problem is the shop tells me that this will invalidate the guarantee.
So - I can't get it fixed under the guarantee because the screen is broken, and I can't fix the screen because it's under guarantee.
Any ideas??? I'm stumped!:(

You can pay a Nokia authorised repair centre to fix the damage to your handset as this won't invalidate the two year warranty. If the behaviour you describe is due to the damage then it won't be covered by the warranty.
See the repair section of the Nokia site, you send it off and they give you are quote for repair.0 -
Thanks - I'll give them a try :beer:0
