Either way, if they are compatible with his/her current system, £43.50 for two HomePlugs is not an unreasonable cost if the wireless range is not enough for the OP's needs.0 -

WiFi imo is the first thing to try considering this is a moneysaving site and a USB or PCI card is a lot cheaper than homeplugs. If it turns out to be rubbish then I'd personally run ethernet rather than a phone extension but homeplugs are less work (at a cost).0 -

My PC is the only device I want to connect to broadband and I want to do this wirelessly. Will this be a problem - i.e. there'll be no devices wired into the home hub?
