Hi
I recently logged my CV as searchable on jobsite
today I received this email that seems too good to be true, I have a feeling its a scam to get bank details later down the line. Cannot find this company's details listed on google or any other search engine.
Having looked through your CV The AuctionQ company is pleased to offer you the position of Sales Assistant. Your skills and experience will be an ideal fit for our new opening branch in biggleswade.
Your starting date may be April 20. The starting salary is 28,000 GBP per annum and is paid on a bi-weekly basis. Direct deposit is available.
Full family medical coverage will be provided through our company's employee benefit plan and will be effective on May 15. Dental and optical insurance are also available.
The AuctionQ offers a flexible employment as well as permanent; both positions include vacation, and sick leave. Time off accrues at the rate of one day per month for your first year, then increases based on your tenure with the company.
Eligibility for the company retirement plan begins 90 days after your start date.
If you choose to accept this job offer, please send a letter back to me showing your interest at your earliest convenience. When your acknowledgement is received, we will send you employee forms to look through.
We look forward to welcoming you to the AuctionQ team.
If you have any questions or I can provide any additional information, send a reply to my address:

Did you specifically apply for a job with them or was this an email as a result of simply posting your CV ?“That old law about 'an eye for an eye' leaves everybody blind. The time is always right to do the right thing.”0

I got the exact same email?0

I registered with jobsite yesterday and got the same email today for their new site in Sunderland.0

It's going to be one of those counterfeit cheque scams - you get a cheque to pay into you bank account and you foward on the money to this AuctionQ company via WU or another money-transfer service when the cheque seems to clear when the money is in your account. But some time later (maybe weeks), your bank tells you the cheque was fake, and deducts the money from your account."You were only supposed to blow the bl**dy doors off!!"0

Of course it's a scam, no reputable company gives you a job after just looking at your CV.
You'll be a money mule, if you want free board, free food and free sex courtesy of Her Majesty go for it.0 -
I get at least one of these a day and have done for months..Some are better written then others but it all comes down to the same thing in the end.
Either money changing or standing on street corners trying to flog things that no one wants ( would probably make slightly more money selling my husbands body on the street corner..only slightly more mind but at least he would be out from under my feet for 3 minutes)There is a race of men that don't fit in; A race that can't stand still;
So they break the hearts of kith and kin, and roam the world at will.

REPLY TO MY EMAIL!!
Dear Dawnn M Cowe! My name is Sonya Jurgen, I am the Head of International Operations, and Rudie McEvan-is my assistant.
Her task was to send you an offer to join our team, but in future you
will be cooperating with me, not with Rudie.
This is a work at home position which you can perform from any location as long as you have
Internet access. Also, we are not taking any fees or any payments from
the possible candidates, as we are interested in finding reliable
members of our team and not money from people who wish to find a job. For the first month the position you will be
considered as an employee undergoing the trial period, which is obligatory paid. After
successful completion of the first month you will receive an official
contract for permanent employment. First, I need to give a notice that we
have visited several jobsites in the UK,such as totaljobs,
and our HR have chosen the possible candidates (10), so you were one of them.
As you can see from the advertisement our head office is located
in the USA. The competition in auction markets is rather intense these
days and to compete within the international auction arena we must provide
customized and services similar to those provided by the local companies.
This includes customer support and transaction support within UK
Since we haven't set up an office in the UK yet you'll be processing
transactions from local UK customers.
If you would like to get more information as for the things we sell, then please
visit our website hibidders.com our main office
address-14 Crown Street, Nashua, NH 03060, USA. The HBA is a network of professionals that work with established online auctions.
We have reputable sellers that sell items through existing auction
sites, also we use established auctions such as eBay, Amazon, Yahoo,
and many others.
Well, as for salary-the salary varies from 940,00 GBP/month plus commission (flexible employment or part-time)
to 1880,00 GBP (full time).
Also you will have the additional salary-you will receive the commission from every
task, it will be 6 (from Monday to Friday) and 11 on Saturday.
So, if you wish to join us let me know, I will send you the agreement
with job description and schedule to get accustomed.
Best Regards,
Sonya Jurgen

I have since sent Sonya the post from the forum who has explained that this is not a scam...lets see...seems strange to get a job offer without an interview and from only looking at a CV....very skeptical..
Dear Mr.Cowe! I do not know why you have posted our offer as a "Scam",
I think you better know that. I will talk to our solicitors and we
will decide who is responsible for that.

I got that too, just seemed too generic.0

Considering that they are failing to abide by basic HMRC practice (payments weekly or monthly, never bi-weekly) it looks like they have no idea how UK business practice works. It's also worth noting that none of their businesses appear to be registered in New Hampshire (there is a corporate registration checker in each state, kinda like Companies House). It has all the hallmarks of a scam.
Personally, I'd tell them you have found something else, and report them to the website controllers. Some days, it's just not worth chewing through the leather straps....
