Ryanair : Confirming email important?

Have made a flight booking with Ryanair for first time.

Unfortunately, I made an error with my email address so have not received my confirming email.

I have checked with the site and can see that the ticket is confirmed and payment has been approved but, of course, nothing received directly from them.

Can anyone tell me what is usually contained in the email and is it the e-ticket that I will need to fly? Will it be sufficient to turn up on the day with a print-out of the web page showing the booking number etc.?

With Ryanair you MUST check in online and print your boarding pass before going to the airport. As long as you have your booking reference, and can log into "manage my booking", then you will be able to log into online check in, and print your boarding passes.

However, if anything about your flight changes, Ryanair will email you to tell you about it. Therefore you may miss out on important information if any changes are made to your flight. In theory you could just log into "manage my booking" regularly to see if anything has changed. However, for what it will cost, I'd just ring Ryanair and have your email changed - contrary to common belief, they won't charge you the earth to do this!

I would contact them, informing them of correct email address, as you say flight is confirmed, but they need to be able to contact you, if flight time was to change.

    Thanks for the replies.

I rang Ryanair this morning - call queue said 10 mins but was answered in three.
They changed the email address without a problem and with no charge once they had established I was the person who booked the flight.

A pat on the back to them for efficiency and service, I'd say. I was expecting there to be a 30 minute call queue and some extra charge for doing it after reading all the adverse reports about them - but one satisfied customer here, at least!
