Problem with broadband/phone? not sure which is the problem

I have just got a new wireless modem and after some difficulty setting it up, I managed to get it sorted, but now my phone wont show up the caller ID. it works when I plug it direcly into the socket, but not when I put it through the splitter thing to separte it from the broadband.

Any ideas what could be causing the problem? I really need the caller ID as it is a business line and I need to check who has called me if I am out of the office (and to know whether to not answer the phone!)

    It sounds like the filter must be faulty to me. I never had an issue with ADSL and caller id in the days when I was on ADSL. All I can suggest is that you try a different filter. If you don't have one and can't borrow one try asking ADSLNation as they sell good filters and may have come across this before.
