Jet2.com handbaggage

My son and his mates have bought tickets with Jet2.com to fly to Ibiza in June returning in September.
They are planning on taking some electronics with him as hand baggage, they are in their own made to measure cases.
The dimensions of the cases are

37 x 18 x 46 cm

The jet2.com hand baggage dimensions are given as

56 x 45 x 25 cm

Will the cases fit in the cage at the airport?

Not worth the risk.. in my opinion.

There's no risk as the dimensions are within what is allowed. In my experience Jet2 are less likely to ask for all the luggage to be put in a cage than Ryanair, although you will probably be asked if your cabin luggage is obviously over.

You mean 46 x 37 x 18 cm - you are allowed to turn the case around to make it fit.
