oooh I love camping we go in a group with a few tents never on a hook up always slumming it cos thats part of the fun.
torch and a pot to pee in
flip flops for the shower, dry shampoo and baby wipes
pillow, ear plugs and hat and socks for bed as well as warm jim jams and a fleece to wrap up in
cereal coffee and milk
rain jacket with hood
these are the minimum I need to keep me clean, warm and fed. I say the minimum 'cos you would not believe the amount of stuff we take, the list is endless.
Part of the fun is realising what you forgot (someone has already said writing a list while your there is a good idea) but really other campers will lend you stuff (like washing up liquid)
Be careful when spraying the tent tho because some sprays can damage the waterproof protection.
