Just popped into two Tesco Metros on my way home - the one in the centre of town had Dentyl mouthwash for £3.12 a bottle, while the one in my local further out still had it for £3.00 a bottle. Asda shows £1.00 on their website still so I've picked up a few bottles for either -£1.00 or -£1.24 net; let's hope it's still working for whenever tomorrow's vouchers turn up!

    SPREADSHEET CHANGES PLEASE READ

    Morning all

The team have been giving it some thought, and we need to make some changes to the spreadsheet. Yesterday, we received at least 400 updates, and every one of these takes time to process and update. There are only a few of us editing and we all have other commitments.

Given this, we are making the following changes:

There are now 3 tabs of data for you to look at. Hot deals, Low value DTDs, and unconfirmed hot DTDs (please ignore the others, I can't publish multiple tabs without publishing all)

1: Hot Deals - these are confirmed deals where you get back more than 50% of the Tesco price although there may be some which are lower if they are particularly good for that product. We will keep this as up to date as possible and add confirmed dates as they are reported to us. So please, continue to report CONFIRM, AMEND, DELETE or NEW deals on this tab

2: Low value DTD - those where you get back less than 50%. The only maintenance we will do on these deals is to add them and to delete them as they are reported to us. We won't double check the info on the Mr T/Mr A website, and we won't add confirm dates. So, please only report NEW or DELETE for these deals.

3: Unconfirmed hot deals - we will add these as they come in and will include a date added. If these get confirmed then they'll get moved to the HOT tab. Please report NEW, CONFIRM, AMEND or DELETES for these

Please ignore the other two tabs. These are for editors only and won't give you any useful info!

    Other changes
We will no longer be providing download versions of the spreadsheet. This has to be done manually several times a day and we don't have time to keep doing it.

The VALUE column now shows the % of the Tesco price you get back

We appreciate some of you prefer the download version and that this removes some functionality, but we can't sustain the amount of work involved in maintaining the SS in its current format.

The SS should be available now at its usual location: https://spreadsheets.google.com/spreadsheet/pub?hl=en&hl=en&key=0ArDxW2XgVnGjdEd6Q0IxMVVBbF84VjNZWUdOeEdjblE&output=html

If folk could keep this bumped up today it would be appreciated.

    Your friendly neighbourhood spreadsheet team!
    :D

    here we go

Reminder that the charity thank you donations are running too now.

the clove one is somewhat a acquired taste.
    mint for me.

it does say "shake to activate" on the bottle.
and the two colours is bit of a clue:D

    :p:p:p:p:p

I did admit to not reading the bottle...& as for seeing the two colours..no I didn't, too early in the morning for me, just picked it up & had a swig.:D Not good.

Yep, mint was the mint too.;)

Tesco are probably just taking their time trying to figure out why vegetable samosa's sales have gone up 400%...

I was interested to see that the going rate for DTD Finish Quantamatics is £2 according to posts on one of the topics on the vouchers thread. They must live very close to Tesco to make that profitable (after petrol and time!). Some people will always exploit loopholes more than others (including eBay and car booting it seems). Neither cases are in the spirit of the promotion, but then multiple email addresses and claiming more than £100 in a month are also breaching t&c's so Many on this thread are probably not in a position to judge.

No, I'm sorry we are not doing downloads any more. If you look up the thread a little you will find my post where I explain the changes (it has a subtle pink header - if not would someone be kind enough to bump it please?

p.s. the unconfirmed items still have to be added manually, we do them as fast as we can

Have not seen your previous post explaining details.

How can we put a shop together and calculate the cost v DTD, without the downloadable version?

I notice there is a huge jumble of stuff in the "low value" DTD stuff, can that not still be kept in the correct headers, ie "fresh fruit and veg" "meat and fish" etc etc??

    Thanks

Could someone save a downloaded version of the spreadsheet pretty please? The last one appears to be from Saturday and as we know there have been a lot of changes today.

Also, for some reason the live one doesn't show "unconfirmed" items? I've just submitted a load.

 & thanks again for all your hard work

    you spreadsheet people! :A

You can copy and paste it to an excel spreadsheet or work it out with pen and paper.

All thanks to the people who generously spend their free time working hard on the super SS :)
