My brother works in ASDA and their sales are suffering, ASDA arent going to be happy but lowering their prices will only make things worse. Tesco arent going to want to stop the DTD because they will lose face... but its costing both if that makes sense?

There is no way the competition commission would ever let any combination of T, A and/or S happen. Ever. There are plenty of other groups they could merge with though, such as Carrefour or Auchan.

Good afternoon everybody, just got home from a walk around tesco just looking , and it seems a lot of our bargains are a gonna. I was approached by a suited man as I was wandering and he made me feel very uncomfortable so I just thought , brazen it out , so I said excuse me can you tell me if you sell any toilet descaler please as I cant see to find it. He sort of muffled a reply, sounding like aisle 18, but I couldnt make out what it was , so I just turned and carried on looking. There was no johnsons baby powder or bath soak on the shelves, no radox bath soak, no hand wash, but they had plenty of finish 28's regular wooo hooo lol lol :j
