My brother works in ASDA and their sales are suffering, ASDA arent going to be happy but lowering their prices will only make things worse. Tesco arent going to want to stop the DTD because they will lose face... but its costing both if that makes sense?
You mean price fixing? Off to the Office for Fair Trading to get big fines if they formalised that. More likely is that Tesco will simply offer the difference instead of double.0 -

I loved the download SS as I could manipulate it and print off a personalised shopping list, but when it got too much work for the volunteers who provided it I didn't complain or whinge, I simply got out a pen and paper and did it the old-fashioned way. They've done enough for us already and if they say it's too complicated I will believe them and put some more effort in myself. Simples.
lol my reply was going to be the same as Mharzuks, so I'm just seconding itVery easy to use once you copy it
If it helps I copy the whole ss and paste it onto excel then do the manipulations to get my own list. Works fine for me, and you can delete the extra columns the editors use to make it tidyHTH

An ASDAism to accompany all the Tescoisms....
By what percentage did your brother say ASDAs sales had dropped?
:rotfl::rotfl: lol, I was going more for a line of conversation than "telling you what was happening".
There was no % it was a casual conversation, he didnt know alot about the Tesco DTD but only when I gave him some shower gels we talked about it and again as casual comment he told me that his managers had been complaining about the impact it was having.
Again I refer to my original post... just wondering how everyone will think it will end?0 -
Has anyone had any DTD Vouchers from any shopping done on the 25th today please? I am waiting for one from the 23rd and 4 from the 25th, i have tried the backspacing that worked last time but to no avail this time, i have just tried it again and nothing, is it just me?
hthShop one - A vs T
Shop two - A vs W
And then repeat :j:j:j
& now add - A vs S
What the heck A vs the world :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:0 -
Might go and spend a left over voucher or 2 ,before todays come in or there will be a mad rush in tesco's later and they wont know whats hit them.0

Ahhh indeed I had never thought of it like that.
Although maybe they will merge and we will get ASCO's?0 -

I don't believe this at all, many people despite the tv ads etc have no knowledge of the double the difference price promise - most staff haven't either lol.0
