    They are £2.20 instore at T and £1.75 at A I make that a dtd of 90p?
Yes but they were £1.75 at T too when I bought them and I haven't had to open it yet! I did it because the ones I usually buy are on promo in T so cancels out DTD from other items if I get them.

i've been trying to find the small tesco value chicken breast (337g) at a couple of tescos because i think it will be a good DTD deal; we haven't had any good deals on chicken breast so far! but i can't seem to find any value ones, just the standard (and more expensive tesco one).
so using the small pack from tesco as an example:

    T: £2.50
    A: £1.69
    DTD: £1.62
Net cost: 88p for 337g of chicken breast.

    what do you think?
I don't think this will work. Unlike steak/beef/lamb,chicken breasts are often sold in 'average weight' packs (e.g. 400g) at the same price, so will only match if they are the same size in A and T. There may be some that work, but not the one you gave in your example.

Is DTD not working on the 3 for 2 offers on vitamins?

i.e. Wellman is 3 for 2 at Tesco, £8 each therefore £16 for 3 packs.

Asda is 3 for £10, so DTD of £12 (net cost £4).

Surely this applies to loads of supplements?

Instead of recycling a voucher - ie: using a DTD voucher to buy more DTD items and get another voucher you 'kill' a voucher by using it for non-DTD shopping - ie: clothes or price matched food/ BOGOF offers etc. No further voucher is genertaed (tesco will be cheaper or the goods (clothes) will be N?A - so the voucher has been 'killed'. Sometimes handy to do if you have several vouchers on the go :D

Also handy for larger shops eg 4 crates strongbow for £25, buy those with something costing £30, with £4 off £30 shop till spit, with a £20 DTD voucher you pay £6 for 4 crates of cider and whatever cost £5!

milk and bread do the trick for me.

    thanks, good idea
I'm a bit nervous about Tesco bread at the moment. Last 2 times I bought soft rolls have found something not soft in them ( black and crunchy)

Congrats on the new little one . I have a couple months left to go before I pop . Have you joined all the super Market baby clubs as I have now several packs of nappies stored and have paid nothing or very little for them. Asda baby club is good you get a baby box free which has huggies nappies and wipes and sainsburys club gives you tonnes of vouchers which if you use when they have baby events saves you loads and you get a free baby box from them too I think

Yep got all the free stuff as well spent ages signing me and 1/2 my street up :)
