    ATTENTION ALL ANDROID USERS

Dont know if this has been mentioned before...

My OH has just figured out how to use the barcode finder to bring up asda's price. You need to download the barcode app, go onto custom search, type in http:// groceries.asda.com/asda-estore/search/searchcontainer.jsp?trailSize=1&searchString=%s (with no space after http:/) save that as your custom search, scan your item and press custom search and HEY PRESTO :j tried it on a few items and up it pops on the asda site on your phone

we used the app by ZXing team

just bumping for anybody who may have missed it
  • Unconfirmed deal

    Cushelle Toilet Tissue 4 rolls

    Tesco £2.51
    ASDA £1.75
    dtd £1.52
    net £0.99

tesco does compare this product as it compared for tbw yesterday in post #6751 when the price was £3.50 in both stores.
    I will inform ss crew.

Seriously folks, there are some things you should not discuss
    1. What you are planning to buy based on a new offer
    2. Some ways Tesco could track vouchers
    3. How to use the same voucher twice
    4. Quirks you have spotted
This deli counter issue can be fixed overnight causing problems for tomorrow's shoppers. The Flump is a prime example of this.

The Hardys wine offer was discussed here a lot and was amended ready for the very next day. Now I am sure other web sites mentioned the Hardys wine offer too and it probably wasn't our fault the offer did not work in the end but the long and the short of it is, wait until it is in place before drawing it to people's attention.

We don't need people here to do Tescos work for them.

Oh and on a personal note, punctuation should not be abused!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! < example

loads of smileys is a bit girly :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: <prime example

and a really good rule, when you quote another post, only quote as many lines as you are going to type. Some people are quoting 70 lines of text but just adding a few words. It's unnecessary.

If you are adding just one line, quote one line.

    Thank you for your attention.

EDIT:Remember some people are on mobile phone packages where data is at a premium, don't quote more than you have to. Have you ever tried to scroll 70 lines of quoted text on an iphone just to see someone add "I agree" ?

    EDIT2: Speeling

Sound more like a Backseatdriver to me.

I am really feeling awful , sneezing, eyes running , i feel lousy. I have managed to get the gell piece off the toilet and thrown the applicator out in the bin, I have put a lemon and bicarb out in the toilet and put a lemon in the living room. I guess I am allergic to them. Grrrrrrrrrrr.

Oh dear, does sound like an allergy :(. Might be worth shutting bathroom door and leave the window open for a while.

(sure I spotted anti histamine on the SS at some point;))

I use these all the time with no sneezing:D. Avoid the lime flavour though as that smells funny when you wizz on it.

Having DH&DS I have to place the blob carefully at the front of the bowl as they seem to use it as target practice otherwise:eek:.

Pee on the loo block - you know it makes scents :rotfl:

Thanks for the link. I came across the snippet from a financial news gossip column. Several influential financial analysts were encouraging the new boss at Tesco to take on ASDA. Apparently, the ASDA price guarrantee was hurting Mr T badly.
Having following this thread from day one, there appear to be a bit of personal disagreement between some quarters. Can we please keep to discussing about our finds and trout spotting? After all, we are ALL on the same side, or are we???

Agree completely, now lets get back to spending this 2 million.

Have you thought of writing to the manufacter (probably a customer sales dept. contact on the packet) to complain?

You never know, you may receive a voucher from them:) Save the packet, just in case.
