thanks for the replies: DD now has new sandals, top and jeans and i only had to dip into my purse for £19.00, just had to buy loads of cereal whilw i was there though as our shop doesnt have the 375g boxes and DD was mortified that i was checking the trolleys!

Useability suggestion - add item to shopping list with a double click on the spreadsheet? Remove item from shopping list with a double click on the shopping list? Probably make it a lot quicker and more intuitive. Just a thought .... (I'll PM you too so you don't miss it in the swathes of posts!)
