  • I just wanted to say a big thank you for the SS, it was easy to use to find the items I normally buy to help me stretch my shopping budget. My children go through yoghurts like they are going out of fashion we sometimes get through 10 a day:eek:
If this nice weather keeps going I might buy a suncream for my lot for when the one I'm using runs out.
Thanks to MSE savings we got to go to Disneyworld Florida.

    Do you mean Tesco??

If Asda reduce anyomore they may as well give them away :D

Ditzy moment, glad I didn't shop today. I added them to my basket and for some odd reason the difference wasn't showing but I realised I mixed up asfda and tesco.

Have a great shopping list but tomorrow is going to be a bit dangerous isn't it not having anything confirmed :(

If prices are still showing as the old price on both their websites, things should be okay or am I missing something here?

I just got my vouchers back from yesterday and had almost forgotten a womble I entered on Friday. Just got back £11.80 voucher for it. Hooray!!
Also my DD is moving in with fiance next week so I gave them some essentials like washing liquid dishwasher tabs etc and when we added up the 2 shopping bags I made it almost £90.00 worth of goods. Thanks Mr T and although I am missing shopping today my house is much cleaner. Happy Easter all

    DTD is in.

Mixed results on the beef front. Bought 3 Silverside, 1 on one receipt, 2 on another. All identical apart from weight with bar code matching the spreadsheet.

    1st receipt:

    1 x T.BEEF TOP SIDE TOP RUMP SILVER SIDE JOINT MED (1.287 kg) £ 10.91 £ 5.15

    2nd receipt:

    2 x T.BEEF TOP SIDE TOP RUMP SILVER SIDE JOINT MED (5.027 kg) £ 20.80 £ 20.11
The weights were 1.268 and 1.195 so not sure how they got to 5.027!

(oops). What went wrong here? Is it because I bought two?

    Thanks

mmmmn thats interesting, thats what started happening with the legs of lamb before they were reduced in price, its the first time ive heard it happen on the beef.

Seems its a glitch in the system which might be randomly comparing the weight in lbs against kgs.

The fact you bought 2 shouldnt make any difference as I bought 2 joints in one transaction a couple of days ago and came back fine.
