Tesco/Asda Pricechecker Thread - part 5

Just come back from a true DTD experience, not only have I found a new DTD deal (unconfirmed as yet) I may have sparked a product recall.
Just finished my first shop of a bottle of Balvenie Signature 12YO Malt Whisky 70 ml £32.76 T £26.50 A and started on my second, the SA scanned thru my Kopperberg strawberry n lime cider (not DTD unfortunately, I'd clear them out if it was) when one of the bottles I'd already placed in my bag exploded. I stood there like a loon not realising what had happened until I saw my finger dripping blood everywhere.
1st aid was a joke, they had to open 3 boxes before they found any plasters and there was no antiseptic spray to be found even in the pharmacy.
An hour I spent filling forms out for Tesco AND the supplier, chapter and verse. The worst part came when the Personnel manager came down and said 'We'll have to take the rest off the shelves'
I thought you're not getting your hands on the ones in my trolley I ruddy well paid for those but boy was I careful putting them in the car.
I thought handing the voucher over was meant to be the scariest part.
edit: I've filled the form to add the whisky to the sheet

I think I saw my first "friend of martin" earlier, in the solihull store at around 3:30
The lady split her shopping into two, and was at a ginger haired checkout operator & used a voucher for the second part of the shop. Was tempted to say something, but thought better of it.0 -

I moved from Barnstaple the day the big one below Forches estate was built.

The new store is at severn brethren - its on the site which use to be Brian Fords. I was really worried about doing this shop as the C/S lady at Braunton decided to mark my new receipt the other day with her signature and a scribble across the barcode but this young lady at the Extra store didnt even comment on it.Very proud to be Strip club member No 430 -
I'm not living in B'staple myself but have family there - I think the new Extra is on the old Brian Fords site isn't it? I'm planning a visit with some vouchers and my Mum when I pop down next weekend!
Yes your right old Brian Fords site - lovely staff !!Very proud to be Strip club member No 430 -

Whey aye, ya bugar a hell - there's loads of us. The annual party is at Kingston Park later this year.
Avoid Gateshead - 9.7 on the Troutometer. But then Gateshead should be renamed Tescotown as Tesco have bought the whole of the burg! The recent upsets in Bristol could well be small fry when the full understanding of this is revealed.
I had my first altercation with a member of staff today in Gateshead but I can't post it now as intemperate language was used - not by me I hasten to add. I shall report this more fully after the witching hour of 21.00 hours when all children and those of a nervous or fragile disposition will be tucked in their beds.
