I have got my o/h an easter egg and i said to her last night have you got me an easter egg and she stated that women dont get men easter eggs its only men that should buy women easter eggs.

Anyone aware of the terms and conditions on this?

feel like eating her cadburys creme egg while shes in bed!

Other way round in my house -- OH a chocaholic and me, well, I nibble the odd bit of dark choc and love Thorntons continental selection. Was using my Tesco vouchers (the ones they send you, not the DTD ones) on them until redspottedhanky came along.

Be nice -- am sure she will share with you!
  • Good morning dtd' ers, I think I have finally found something on Asda which is price dtd, Pot noodles various flavours in tesco are £1 and Asda 50p so dtd is £1. I hope I am right on this , as I had a nightmare last night about the lamb rack I am hoping to get today to cook for hubbys lunch tomorrow, the darn lamb kept chasing me all night !!! :rotfl:

I can confirm £1 DTD for the pot noodles, got some on Wednesday and received voucher Thursday. Great to take camping.

you'll end up giving away 80%+ of that, it's probably only good for 12 months if you check the box (Picture of a plastic container with a number, e.g 12M=months) and not really something to mess around with, so might want to switch it up to a different product?

But that's not really the whole story. The picture of the container is an OPEN container, which means that you should use within x months of opening. As long as you keep the unopened tubs in a dark cupboard away from sunlight they will last a good few years. this is because the protecting properties will break down on exposure to UV light and once opened is exposed to germs and contamination which also breaks down the product. Source: a research chemist friend.

I know this is true as I had not yet bought this year's sunblock when it was very hot and sunny a week or two ago. After a rummage in the cupboard I found a sachet of factor 20 (free with a mag) dated 2007(!). "Better than nothing" I thought, so applied to face and neck and rubbed what was left on my arms. After a day in the garden I could see exactly which bits my fingers had streakily managed to cover and which bits were bright pink! I was all stripey, but face and neck were fine.

    It's only a game

Good morning all I am off out to take my son to football for 2 hours then to say hello to Mr T. I am glad that I was pointed to a 2nd version of the SS in post 2 but not glad that for some strange reason I can't view it anymore on my 3G phone. It used to be fine a couple of days ago but now the SS loads up but there is no data shown (empty cells). Anyway hope everyone enjoys the weather and
    Happy St George's day.

I think they are great to take out with you, and also for the boys when they come in from work before they go home to their own homes. I thought I had finally found 1 dtd as I trolled through asda website for 2 hrs last night and thought I had found 1 which nobody had already found lol oh well lol lol :D

meet a 'friend of martins' tonight in the easter egg isle at Bishop Auckland store, seen his shopping basket and couldnt help but ask if he was a mse'r.
I told dh when i got home and he was laughing his head of and couldn't believe i had actually asked someone, said i would post on here I had met a matiner. so HELLO to you.

    That would be me.

Mentioned it to my mum (she had sent me in there after all) and she loved the fact there were other 'friend of martins' locally, dont think she has seen someone else in that store.

Trust me, if she was there, you would probably still be talking in store now :rotfl:

Well, didn't get any Easter eggs, will pop along to Newton Aycliffe today though, since Mum's at work, managed to keep her sweet by topping up on Magnums though ;)
