£7 in Asda if you buy 2, £8.98 for 2 in T. As I'm now finally allowed to drink after 9 months of being dry, I'm building myself back up slowly so stocking up on alcopops works for me!

Ah, ok lol by profit I though you meant we got paid for buying it - like the pizza and muller yogurts lol :rotfl: got very excited there!!

Yeah, I got the 2 x 4 packs of wkd yesterday! Yummy! :) Hope you enjoy yours lol

Great to see all the vouchers coming in and the posts on your results. Don't forget that if you could spare a minute to upload your updates to the spreadsheet, it would be most appreciated by everybody.

  • It's been interesting looking at long wombled receipts. In most cases tesco is actually cheaper. So although we are all making a fortune through this promotion, its because it is targetted to a very small percentage of the store's items. Its something to remember when we see posts talking about tesco fleecing the customer. They may well be......but asda is just as bad.

My bad. I thought it was a profit one but it's not! The Finish dishwasher tablets are though but I don't think they'd taste as good a WKD.

I'm going to try for my first DTD shop this afternoon so I think it will be mainly WKD and Finish and maybe a toothbrush or two. I take it my best option is to put the DTD through as one transaction then either put the rest as a 2nd transaction or persuade the husband to come with me and use him to pay for the non-DTD stuff?

I did ask my mum who is normally quite savvy with this stuff and she's of the opinion there's too much faffing around. If there was an Idiots Guide post for what to do and what not to do I think more people would do this. Then again, if every man and his dog did the DTD then Mr T may withdraw it a lot quicker.

Very odd, why are yours numbered and mine not????

Do you print horizontal rather than vertical?

Why doesn't this protection extend to Scotland? The protection was originally introduced by the Sunday Trading Act 1994, which does not extend to Scotland. Sunday trading has been legal in Scotland for many years and, in consequence, many Scottish shop workers had become accustomed to Sunday working. It was the Government's view that the reform of the law on Sunday trading in England and Wales was not necessary in Scotland. These arrangements seemed to work to the satisfaction of all, without the need for further legislation.

I don't think I understand? You've asked me a question, but then answered it yourself............ lol
