I kill them off occasionally, sometimes accidentially, by making a mistake, I dont then try to build it back up, just give it to my Mum as a discount off her shopping.
A couple of times I have gone to the clothing dept and bought some nice undies and tops.I would have done this normally anyway.
Then I buy something easy, suntan stuff, razors, vodka??? to generate a new voucher.
Love your Mum, you'll never get another one when she's gone.
  • Why kill off a voucher?...they are impossible to like one to the next!!!!!

    Really?

What if they ring HO and ask me what the previous email was then realise I had over £100 on the previous email?

I had such a bad experience yesterday - my local is reknown for it's troutiness, and can't be doing with the extra stress.

Anyway when I 'kill' the voucher off I can buy stuff that is on offer so I am still saving money as it's stuff I would buy anyway.

First time to this - how long does it take to get your results, on average?

    Tesco say within 36 hours.

They usually arrive the next day though - no certain times - but usually between 12 and 4pm.

I agree with you there is a slight risk by transferring a voucher to another email address, rather than killing it off.

It depends on your store really, if someone is using a store that always just scans the vouchers at the till it might be worth the risk.

However if it's a store where they send people to customer service I wouldn't risk it. If they call HO and you can't prove the chain of vouchers to one email ady you could risk getting banned totally from Tesco, as one forum member did. :(

Couldn't you just say you have forgotten? Or that you made a mistake and have two email addresses?

Plus this could only happen on change of email address.

Sorry I was shopping for my dear Nan and myself, I must of got my receipts mixed up when I submitted them, sorry!

I was looking on Ebay too, but my DH does house removals and got a call the otherday to pick up a new fridgefreezer from a store and the lady asked if he could take away the old one:T

Nothing wrong with it, she just wanted a new one coz the other one was a few years old! Score.

It's now full of beef, cornetto's and Magnums:rotfl:

They really got banned from Tesco for using too many DTD vouchers?
