Just got back from my first shop of the day . I had my first near miss. When I handed over my voucher and reciept , the SA said I can not except this is has strange printing over the barcode  She and I could not work it out , I could make out the words price check and the amount of the voucher £17.42 . Then it came to me that the printer ink must have been still wet when I put the voucher and reciept together . Still she was not having any of it so called for assistance . I explained what must have happened and then she turned the reciept over and asked what the AH was written on the back . I said its my email address I can never remember it so made a note in case you asked :eek:Then she took my reciept away saying she had to get the OK . I stood there thinking , do I say I did not want the Bacardi as it was a treat for me as I had a voucher . Then she came back and told SA to put it through :D .
Moral of the story . Make sure the ink is dry before putting them together .

Just noticed your from east sussex like a few of us on here, just wondered which stores you've visited who were friendly accepting dtd vouchers

Ahhh I see now, it makes to kill off a voucher if you have used clubcards etc or debit cards. I guess temporary clubcards aren't too clever either then.

If anyone bought the scottish salmon can you confirm whether this went through ok when you get your vouchers please. I fancy a treat today and this would be lovely if it goes through :)

I just think its important to let every one know that this works to save them posting/waiting for no other reason!

It is as important as a confirmation on the ss imo;)

    SPREADSHEET UPDATES

There have been a few little tweaks to the spreadsheet and form.

Column A now contains a date added. Most of this is blank at the moment but it'll be filled in from now on. The dates in this column will turn orange if the deal has been added either yesterday or today to make is easier to see the new deals.

I've also added an option on the form for future deals - this is for use where, for example, you maybe spot that something which Tesco reduced is due to go back up in price soon. If we're sent these deals, we'll keep them stashed on a hidden tab until the date the price change is expected, and once we've confirmed the new price on the Tesco and Asda sites, we'll be able to add them to the spreadsheet straight away. Means we'll get new deals faster, but also don't have to publicise them here as I know some people are concerned about deals being extended when we highlight it. Just in case........ :D

Not relevant to your post but I noticed your username and avatar.
My mum used to have a wire haired dachshund called Micky, he was a minature one. Unfortunately he died 3 years ago at the age of 8 as he had a brain tumour. He was such a lovely dog and it was so sad when it happened, he will never be forgotten. Hence how you just reminded me of him!

...I was wondering why vouchers were being 'killed'?

People have their own reasons for doing this. For myself I've never killed off a voucher and would never do so. Generally you should think of a voucher as free money and your computer as a free money printing machine!

    :rotfl:

I always want to say this to people that either drive really slowly or don't indicate.

"Excuse me, do you realise your indicators aren't working? I've been driving behind you for the last 3 miles and noticed they didn't work at the last 5 roundabouts you've gone round."

Yes my pet hate is people that don't indicate!
