Equipped with my voucher I swiftly picked up the items I 'needed' - fabric conditioner, pizzas etc.:)
Chose a checkout and this is where it all goes downhill......
The woman in front decided to use a stupid amount of time to carefully pack and organise her shopping while she chatted to the SA, she obviously couldn't multi task to save her life. God help her if she ever talks when she drives.
When it gets to my turn the SA goes to have her break and is relieved by a younger SA. Oh goody I think, this is going to go smooth.:)
Items are scanned and I hand over voucher and receipt, SA gives me back receipt straight away and I tell her she needs to check it, this I realise after is the mistake I am to regret for the rest of eternity.
She then looks confused and decides not to scan the voucher but to call a supervisor instead, button is pressed and supervisor appears....

Oh no it is the same supervisor that commented on my voucher last time, telling me I must 'have known' what to buy to get money back while looking into my soul.
I know this is going to be trouble.
She strides over and checks my receipt and tells me in a smug voice they cannot accept the voucher as it the previous shopping was also paid by voucher.
I tell her this is not in the terms and conditions and I happy for her to ring HO.
She huffs and puffs and storms off and tells me she is going to the CS desk.
I follow like a naughty child while everyone stares at me.:(
She rings up HO and low and behold..... IT'S OK TO ACCEPT THE VOUCHER!!!:T
She tells me that she hasn't been in for a few days(that's why I haven't seen her since last week) and that the terms and conditions keep changing.
I feel like politely telling her that the T&Cs have never been like that but keep quiet.
She recalls the transaction and there is 34p to pay. She asks for a clubcard and I tell her I don't have one but would like to apply. This is my second mistake as I clearly do as the other reason I am in Tesco today is to pick up a Direct order which was paid for my clubcard vouchers.
So I join the queue for CS (it's quite long now) so I can pick up my order hoping I get one of the other CS staff instead... which I do.
They then can't find my order and after 20 mins of waiting they finally locate it.
I finally leave the store a nervous wreck.0 -
For anyone who's vouchers come back as 'processing' - which browser are you using?
I found that by using IE, using the back arrow and re-submitting it worked after 2 or 3 attempts whereas on Firefox it didn't seem to.
It's worth a try.
I will try and bump this daily as it seems to have helped a few people and the query comes up regularly - and this thread moves SO FAST!0 -

A quickish question hopefully somebody can help with ....
Yesterday (tues) i noticed my local tesco had 12x440ml CARLING for £12.19 per case ... no deal on it. I remebered seeing on asda website earlier that day that they had this on offer 2 for £16.
So i bought 2 packs which cost me £24.38, in the hope of getting a DTD of £16.76 (awaiting conformation from reciept)
Now i've just looked at the tesco website and it has these packs @ 2 for £15 (valid from 18/04)
So my question is .... is what i have bought on my reciept that is compared to the asda site? i have been noticing more and more prices in my local tesco are different to that on the tesco website (its not an express or anything else, just a 'normal' store)0 -

Also
Yakult, 7 x 65ml T £2.43, A £2.17, DTD 52p, net cost £1.91.

Jack's_Dad wrote: »Inputted a receipt this morning and within an hour got an email back with a link, when I click on it I see a totally different receipt to mine
My receipt was for a £90 odd pound spend and the link took me to one for £8 odd
Rang CS who could not understand how this happened and told me the store for the wrong receipt was in N Ireland and I am in SE England
The receipt numbers quoted in the email are nothing like mine so it is not a simple mistake of me putting in the wrong numbers but obviously my email was spot on
I cannot see any way that this could have happened other than at Tescos end so I hope it is not something that is going to become common
This was probably someone making up an email addy -which happened to be yours.0 -
