I was cringing and laughing at your story emerald star cat..... I'd be mortified, but it doesn't stop me going to Mr T's..
ha ha ha, watch out for the trout. I always choose my SA carefully and smile and say hello, get them onto a good footing as they are less likely to call for a trout.

bless you emerald starcat, I've yet to be trouted, but I just don't tell the SA's anything
.
Sometimes they ask for my receipt, sometimes they don't. Sometimes they initial the receipt, sometimes they don't. I've not yet had any SA scrutinise the voucher for ages or have to ring anyone else to help them.0 -

quick question please;
had to use my card for 1 shop last night- I was 'killing' a voucher but would still like to put through to see if any of the items would help anyone & it's quite a long list
i put through 4 vouchers on my clubcard email address on the 27/03, 29/03, 30/03 and 02/04
and i able to put last night's receipt through also? don't want to link my debit card to more than email address-
thanks very much for any insights!0 -

I'd noticed that today, and it got me thinking too. It is on the Asda site - and you 'Should' be okay. But sadly who knows?Ask me no questions, and I'll tell you no lies0 -

Equipped with my voucher I swiftly picked up the items I 'needed' - fabric conditioner, pizzas etc.:)
Chose a checkout and this is where it all goes downhill......
The woman in front decided to use a stupid amount of time to carefully pack and organise her shopping while she chatted to the SA, she obviously couldn't multi task to save her life. God help her if she ever talks when she drives.
When it gets to my turn the SA goes to have her break and is relieved by a younger SA. Oh goody I think, this is going to go smooth.:)
Items are scanned and I hand over voucher and receipt, SA gives me back receipt straight away and I tell her she needs to check it, this I realise after is the mistake I am to regret for the rest of eternity.
She then looks confused and decides not to scan the voucher but to call a supervisor instead, button is pressed and supervisor appears....
_pale__pale__pale_
Oh no it is the same supervisor that commented on my voucher last time, telling me I must 'have known' what to buy to get money back while looking into my soul.
I know this is going to be trouble.
She strides over and checks my receipt and tells me in a smug voice they cannot accept the voucher as it the previous shopping was also paid by voucher.
I tell her this is not in the terms and conditions and I happy for her to ring HO.
She huffs and puffs and storms off and tells me she is going to the CS desk.
I follow like a naughty child while everyone stares at me.:(
She rings up HO and low and behold..... IT'S OK TO ACCEPT THE VOUCHER!!!:T
She tells me that she hasn't been in for a few days(that's why I haven't seen her since last week) and that the terms and conditions keep changing.
I feel like politely telling her that the T&Cs have never been like that but keep quiet.
She recalls the transaction and there is 34p to pay. She asks for a clubcard and I tell her I don't have one but would like to apply. This is my second mistake as I clearly do as the other reason I am in Tesco today is to pick up a Direct order which was paid for my clubcard vouchers.
So I join the queue for CS (it's quite long now) so I can pick up my order hoping I get one of the other CS staff instead... which I do.
They then can't find my order and after 20 mins of waiting they finally locate it.
I finally leave the store a nervous wreck.
Was this at the B****n store? I was planning on taking a little visit there later, but might choose a different one now instead!:)0
