  • Did my first "in store" DTD today. Not sure I can handle the pressure. I nearly cried in the detergent aisle when they had no Lenor Blue! I've now got a lifetime supply of Flash wipes instead........

    For instance...

    it go DATE TIME 2099 000 9074 0000

    The voucher says:

    DATE TIME 02099 000 074 0000

So there is an extra 0 in front of the 2099 and there is a 9 missing in the third number block:o

Thanks for the advise, I'll give it a go.... my store seemed ok with me before

Yes i have had those nothing to worry about all mine went through fine with no questions asked :)

Guys just a reminder. If you submit anything for the spreadsheet, it is checked by us on Asda and Tesco. If it isn't on both sites - then it is 'no likey' and will be deleted.

We are also down to the last few updates, although we have had hundreds today. If you have any more, they are more than welcome.
Ask me no questions, and I'll tell you no lies
  • i am on the app both on pc and phone but the install button is not on the page of my phone??

  • In my first shop in my locality there was a lady behind me with a fancy for Flash and Surf - please stand forward, we discussed being friends of Martins :-)

    That was my mum :)

Can't believe she met another DTDer, I have never even seen one, let alone talked to one of our species.

She isn't tech savvy so I have been printing the vouchers for her and sharing lots of the funny (and scary) stories from the chat.

I had told her about the secret phrase 'are you a friend of Martin's' but hadn't explained the spreadsheet too her. One thing at a time! Anyway, she wasn't being rude when you mentioned about the spreadsheet and she didn't respond. I have since explained about all the hard work all the SS editors do, and she says a big thank you to you all for all you do

    Help please...I need some therapy!!
I had a nasty trout experience on Monday, and now I have really lost my nerve..
I went into store just to kill off a couple of vouchers..and suddenly found myself surrounded by a scholl of trouts, honestly it was like something out of a Jaws movie. They accused me of doing 'an usually suspious amount of dtd shops' over the weekend (ok, so I did a handful..), they then waved a bunch of vouchers at me, which they said were mine. I explained that I was doing additional shops for MIL & SIL who wanted to take part in the offer alongside me. They then had the cheek to say that I couldn't do this and that my eldery MIL had to physically come to the store to participate. Ok, I admit that I am perhaps pushing the 'spirit of the promotion' a little, but I found their attitude really quite nasty. The biggest trout relented and said that I could use my vouchers 'on this occasion'...(I think this was because she couldn't think of anything else to say). They all proceeded to walk back to their swamp, but not before one of them menacingly said that 'they were investigating this!!.....'. I was really quite offended by their attitude and part of me wants to give up completely as I don't need this kind of abuse.......but another part of me wants to really rip the !!! off Tesco!! Does anyone else feel the same?

If you was near me I would take you back and let them speak to me like that. I would have put them right in there place. and THATS what you need to do.. DIRECT ACTION!!!
