  • Just announced a moment ago on Sky news that.................... Tesco made a pre tax profit of 3.8 BILLION £ and profits are up by 3% !!
    What can you say???
    LL

True, but the UK market is down. ;) They have the Asian market to thank for most of it it seems.

Anyhoo, whoo hoo, just got my first voucher. :T(I did make a bit of a mess with it, putting a reduced item through as well thinking it would be N/A but you live & learn..:D)

Next question...can I use the self serve tills with my voucher or does it need an assistant to check the receipt?
    Thanks.

Dont be ridiculous, this is a 2 Litre bottle of Coke not some obscure item , there is no reason this shouldnt be matched.

I'm sure Tesco would rather know about this as it will be on plenty of receipts of those not looking for DTD items.

you have not benefited from the price check no ? what do you think tesco will do , if everyone who gets an item back as N/A starts complaining . the pricechecks not going to last for ever , do you want to give them another reason to stop it ?

way i see it , is ive more then enough in profit now , what ive got is going to save me money in the coming year ,so if a bottle of coke dont comeback i think i can afford to move on , i dont see your problem , youve still got 3 bottles of coke , its not like youve not got nothing for your money

and phoning tesco is pointless , example being the nutrigrain bars , since the very first dtd voucher arrived , nutrigrains have been a pound at asda , has anyone ever managed to get dtd back on them ,NO

so just be grateful for what you get

Lots of beef joints in my local yesterday, and also lots of halfprice (down to £4).Had to hunt for the right barcode. And ditto for chickens, again had to hunt for the right price. Seemed odd paying twice the price yet get it for nowt in the end. Could send you loopy.

Just to let you know, the Smirnoff red label 1L is showing as tesco price £17 on the spreadsheet but is labelled and went through the till as 20.49, Asda price is £13 so DTD of 14.98.
I have however just realised I should of put it through as a seperate transaction as it will take me over the voucher limit!! !!!!!!, not much I can do now is there.
  • Please could someone tell me if the Pampers jumbo boxes size 4 which is listed as confirmed on the spreadsheet are going through as £12.99 each as in my Tesco they are on the shelf as 2 for £22.00?

Yesterday I bought 4 packs of 30 pampers baby dry nappies (£6.49 each pack) as they are 2 for £10 in asda. Just got my voucher so this is working.

Calls to customer service will have no bearing on when this offer ends.
