I don't know about you but i find it REALLY difficult now to do a "normal" shop and not grab the DTD items, but look at T's offers instead to kill a voucher :rotfl::rotfl:

I know but have you noticed how much stuff you can get for £20 when you do an offer shop not a dtd shop, my basket is full!!!

Did check what they were scanning at?
they are 9p in asda so if they do go through the till at 9p it won't affect your dtd items so worth a try ;)

  • The 2 for £3 would kick in, meaning you're paying 50p per egg. I think that's the offer, as I've only ever bought one at a time.

Doesn't it work out to £1.50 per egg? Meaning it'd work out as T=£1.50 A=£1.00 and dtd =£1.00 per egg? So an outlay of £30 netting a £20 DTD? Or am I getting confused? lol It's easy done............

Can anyone tell me if it is the larger jar of Whole Earth Peanut Butter on DTD. I see from the spreadsheet and Asda site they only sell the 340gm ones and I bought 2 of the 454gm ones that are £2.59 each and on 3 for 2. ( I bought 2). Still I only has 2 bottles of Vimto on the same receipt so could just return them and lose a voucher

DTD has certainly changed my life.....Up every day automatically about 8 to 9 am where as b4 slept till the afternoon..
No housework done.. even all the food bought by dtd is prepared quickly cos wasting all my time going to Tescos or on pc checking the forum...

Gonna be hard to adjust to real life when this ends..
Doing a full time dtd....as well as my 3 day a week job...

Oh B*****y hell, that means I'll have to find a recipe to cook it, Only usually cook salmon, the rest is of my fish is usually breaded or battered!

I love cod loin - cut into strips or left whole, dipped in seasoned flour, fried in as little olive oil or butter as possible for 2/3 minutes each side and served with new potatoes (DTD of course) and salad.

My other half and I love cod cooked in a Spanish style poached with tomatoes, garlic, paprika - Tescos finest chorizo chopped in adds some lovely flavour, washed down with a bottle of Turners Road- sounds like a good plan for us this weekend!

I don't know if this has been mentioned before but there's no need to use the Tesco Price Check for this one - you can just claim DTD at the CS desk.
I bought 10 of these last night, paid at the self-service check-out and went straight to CS. The lady knew that the Flumps have been going through the tills at £0.90 instead of £0.10 and she gave me the difference back in cash (spent £9 on 10 Flumps, should have been £0.90, got £8.10 back). I said "Hang on a minute, didn't you use to do DTD when you overcharge customers?". She said "You know what, you're absolutely right. Here's another £8.10 - what a result for you tonight" :D

    HTH

Perhaps it was you who had already been in my local last night..... LOL. I couldn't do in store DTD as SEL had been changed to a blank card. They still scanned at 90p though, so I put 4 onto my sons small voucher whilst I was there, he's hoping to build it up to for a CD or DVD, this will defo help, thankyou to whoever originally posted it! :T:T:T
