Someone else is doing DTD in MY Tesco

I was too exhausted to prepare a new list last night/this morning, so I decided just to get the same items as I did yesterday, having quickly double-checked prices online this morning on the train.

Imagine my horror, for the first time ever, NO roast potatoes and NO arm & hammer whitening (which is a give-away as the other arm & hammers are on BOGTF at the moment, and there's loads of those in stock).

A bit of quick mental maths and I picked up extra radox....

Might pop back in after work and see if they've got new supplies. The store is 100 yds from my desk so I guess I am lucky really...

    Happy DTDing everyone!

I am so grateful for DTD as I have stocked up on a years supply of oil, washing powder, softener, salmon, pancake mix, dog food etc.

I am finding it so tiring. I am doing 3 shops a day at 3 stores, 2 are ok the other one is a metro and is full of trouts. When you go through the till they all yell out to each other ' he has another voucher innit'. All the other trouts look over and give me evils. I find it gives me a headache sometimes as I can't be done with there crap.

It is tiring working out the sums in your head. For every basket of goods there are two calculations. One for how ,uch I am spending and the other for how much I am getting back. I sometimes get them confused

And my diet? Don't even go there honey. I have put on weight all ready and only been on DTD for 10 days. It's very hard to say no to free food

Last week we bought a second freezer off gumtree. It's full of beef and lamb racks. Now we have no freezer space. Do we buy another freezer?

I don't want it to end like the rest of you but it is taking over my life

I am obsessed and I feel cheated if I am missing out on a visit to Tesco.

My partner is going on about too much Tesco. Too which I remind him of the Taste the difference prawns, lamb pizza. He loves a bargain as well

I hope it does no come across as complainig but it is difficult being involved in DTD.

When it is finished I am going to clean my house with Flash wipes.

I want to thank all the people who post on here and spreadsheet people

I feel like you are likeminded. I have told some peop,e about this and they look at me like I am mental.

    Going shopping in 2 hours.

    Big kiss to everyone

    Xxxxxx

You are so not alone! Unless your life is like this you are not a dedicated DTD'er:rotfl:. My OH is currently bidding for a freezer on ebay!

So as promised.....Asda have reduced the cost of the Cod Loin to £8.90kg compared to Tesco £16.00kg :D

Who is brave and wants to try it?

I see they have 3 cod loins in Asda but the one at £8.90 is definitely a new reduction!

Could be another amazing DTD £16.00/£8.90 DTD £14.20 NET £1.80
    :T

I wll volunteer myself for the cod loins today:rotfl:Better do it myself and not send my OH, he will get so confused! Are they on the fresh fish counte or packaged?

I know exactly what you mean! I went into hospital last wednesday for major surgery, was released on sunday. On Monday morning went to drs to get staples removed managed to persude daughter to take me round tescos to use a couple of vouchers! Needed my fix!
She was good though did a couple of shops for me whilst i was in hospital, followed my lists and we got dtd back.
Only thing is i cant drive for 6 weeks so have to rely on others to take me which isnt good! But hey long may this continue!

    I haven't got a clue! :rotfl:

I was thinking of nipping in to Mr A to have a nosey at the cod loin, not sure how well that will go down with hubby when he gets in from work. It's bad enough going to 2 or 3 Tesco. The only way to be sure is to check it out in Asda first though.

I must confess I have only killed off a voucher once or twice, and that was in the beginning by accident and once when I used it in an express store. Some people kill them when going from one email to another "if shopping for other people" so to speak, and sme people don't:)
