Dell Streak AV Dock - does it work with Android 2.2

Does anyone have this?

I have heard that:
1) With Android 2.2. the HDMI cable no longer works.
2) The HDMI cable no longer gets included now???
Basically, given the Android 2.2. upgrade to the Dell Streak, if I buy this, will it allow me to play YouTube videos on my Dell Streak and streamed to my TV via HDMI?
