Do I have to leave feedback?

i would like to know what you were expecting for a tenner, described as needing a coat of paint.
I would expect a fairly nice set of drawers that need a coat of paint, not something fit for the dump. Furniture is dirt cheap now, go look at any real auction house they can barely give it awayI would left positive feedback too. Be honest as we would like to create an enjoyable environment on eBay instead of wars around
You say be honest yet you expect them to leave positive feedback when the OPs experience was not positive, hardly seems honest does it? I would also be leaving feedback purely for being told I had to leave it..otherwise maybe the seller might have got away without having any left at all.
I probably would have rpeferred to deal with this on collection though, yes it can be awkward but the seller could have resold them .I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. So how is it enjoyable if people don't tell the truth on Feedback. FB is meant to be honest not some work of fiction.I would left positive feedback too. By not telling the seller your issues, you have not given them the chance to resolve the problem. Whilst I think they probably deserved the neutral just for hassling you for feedback, I still think you should have let them know you were unhappy first."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Fair enough jwil but too be honest I'm a coward and I just wanted to get rid and chalk it up to experience - he was the one pushing for feedback! Why push for feedback anyway, I would have thought that it was obvious that I was unhappy with the purchase since I didn't leave feedback ? What was the point of pushing it and being quite aggressive with it! It was almost a demand that I give him feedback surely it's my choice, not his right!

I think you did the right thing. At the end of the day it cost you a tenner and a trip to the tip! If I was selling that I would have at least cleaned them!0
