nissan car company

:huh::huh:I wanted to purchase a new car using my current car as part exchange plus a £500 doposit and pay the outstanding balance on finance, i chose a vehicle with nissan and the salesman then went through the process of obtaining finance i was then told by him later that day that finance had been approved by santander (although i never actually got confirmaion of this approval from any finance company) so i paid a deposit of £500 which i have reciept for and then i got a form inthe post accepting my current car as a part ex. The salesman phoned me when my car arrived 4 weeks and asked meto go and collect it, when i arrived at nissan the salesman told me he couldnt get throgh to finance company, finally i was told that finance had been declined. Now nissan are refusing to give me my deposit back? I dont know where i stand with this situation...obviously i only paid my 500 deposit because i was told by nissan finance was approved. Please could you offer me some advice...many thanks. :huh:
