Downgrading T-Mobile contract?

I have a 24 month contract with T-Mobile with approximately 8 months remaining - does anyone know if it's possible to move to a lower price plan ?

I know that O2 do this (I used to work for them in CS) however I don't know if T-Mobile do.

Just wondered if anyone knew before I sit in a queue for ages (and I'm at work and can't use the phones here for personal calls :D)

Even personal mobile phones? I mean 150.

I don't know the answer to your question, but their T&C say: "2.7. We don’t have to allow You to change Price Plan."
O2 T&C say clearly that you can downgrade once half-way.

Great, looks like a bit of a non starter then.

Only wanted to downgrade to make termination more feasible, oh well :D

Thankfully 12 month contracts are making a return, saying that the new O2 plans do not look attractive :o

Well, "we don’t have to allow" is not the same as "we don't allow".

It doesn't hurt to ask them.

Nah, even on 24 month contracts O2 are a bit too costly (always have been, mind)

My phone is on it's last legs though :(
