Hello all
Does anyone know the cheapest flight from England (anywhere in England) to Taipei, Taiwan? I will be flying out there early in November so it should be cheaper at that time of year (as far as I know). I will be staying for three weeks and then coming straight back home to England.
Thanks in advance,
A.

Yeah Kayak is showing 628 on the dates I picked.Bit of a killer flight tho.20+ hours with changes. You might want to call Flight centre and see if you can get a stop over somewhere and if they can do it cheaper Flight centre will beat any price you have even if it just by £1. ( 628 wth Opodo via Kayak) Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast :beer:0 -
If you are just looking on price then get what you can...
What i normally do is book with an airline that is based somewhere i want to go say Thai for Bangkok etc
You have some low cost carriers once you get to SE Asia if you want your flights to be cheaper.0 -
I travel to Taiwan quite a lot and I've always found this travel agent has the best deals: Ours Travel
They have some special offers on at the moment.
Give them a ring and see what they can do. You're going in the off season so you should be able to fly direct (about 14 hours) with China Airlines for around £600. I managed to get flights much cheaper once!
Just be warned, they'll speak Chinese when they answer the phone. Just speak English and they'll quickly change languages.
ETA: Fantastic country. You'll have a great time. I would say I'm jealous but I'm moving out there in August.0 -
Thanks one and all for your help and advice in this matter. These fares are much cheaper than I had seen otherwise. BA offered a flight for just over double of what Cathay are charging for a return ticket for just a one way pass

Thanks for that. I saw in Flightcenter's website yesterday they advertised that if they could not beat another companies quote in the same cabin on the same flight then one travel for free. I am not sure if this just applies to Business Class or First Class flights but hope not and that they give me a free ticket, I'll keep you updated.0
