Advice needed
My Husband is in the Navy and he currently has an Orange PAYG mobile (no frills - just a basic one)
As he is away alot of the time it is costing us a small fortune in keeping in touch - he is currently in Dublin and I won't let him phone due to the International charges.
I have just signed up with Call1899 so it'll be cheaper for me to phone him, but what I want is a deal with preferably a contract phone (if we are allowed
) so he can phone home for free or really cheap, it doesn't have to be a video/photo phone - we just want one so he can call us.
Please help.
Many Thanks
Rachel

If you use 1899.com to call him in Dublin on his UK registered mobile phone then be aware that he will incur a charge for receiving the call from you.
Better for him to call you from an Irish phone box and then you call him back using 1899.com.0 -
Cheers Stevie, I'm not going to bother phoning him at all - he has email!!!!
Anyone else with any ideas about phones

Right then Rachel. If he has access to a pc you could install the Skype software and then talk to eachother for free! Here's a link to their site:

If you both have PC access why dont you get a web cam and use msn messenger?0
