14 day money back guarantee means just that. It's like a cooling off period - just take it back and say you don't like it.
So you tried to use it, what do they expect? It's the risk they take by offering a cooling off period.
I guarantee you will have no problem at all in the shop, if they did you could even report the staff to head office who would be appalled.
They will politely ask you why, and you say you don't like it. They will then take the phone off you and cancel any payments etc.
Best of luck.0 -
I would also add to the above that the phone just wasnt as good as their staff made out - so you bought in the knowledge that you had 14 days within which to 'test drive' it.0

It won't be as staightforward as everyone makes out, this firm uses a very high pressure sales technique. They will sit you down and try and tie you into another contract. You must be firm and insist you want to cancel with immediate effect and you do not want a replacement.Tell them the phone was crap, the network apalling etc and stick to your guns. You are perfectly within your rights to return it but they don't like you doing it.I found out the hard way,I took another handset and ended up being tied into a 12 month contract(when 3 was new out)and ended up with a pile of crap!!0

Right. I am not a happy man. I went into phones4u today, I was made to wait for 45minutes before anyone seen me although anyone coming in for a contract was seen straight away. Seems i am not important and that is all that matters. I told the woman my problem, she said it would be fine. After 45mins, i was finally seen to, and the unhelpful reply i got back, we cant refund you beacuse it has been fifteen days although i bought it two weeks today and i thought that was 14days and there was no budging with him. What do i do now and the manager couldnt give two monkeys. All i heard from him , was that he was on the phone to a senior manager stating all workstations have new contracts going. What poor customer service. What do i do!!!!!!!!!!!!0

You were within the 14 day period (unless they are really picky and say that you came in after 336 hours therefore after 14 days)
Ask for the head office and head of customer service and write to them. Get the name of the manager you spoke to and complain till they refund you.
Good luck!0 -
You have no 14 day cooling off period if you baught this on payg.0
