Possibly
But his exact words were
" I have a mate who is bankrupt, it must have been a very stressful time for you. What you need to watch out for when cleaning up your file is Notice of Correction and you can also get hold of a Notice of Clearance from Experian. Not many people know about it and they might moan a bit if you ask them, but this wipes everything clean" "nod nod wink wink"
I will try and get to speak to him again when in branch to clarify.
Thanks for all the replies0 -
Nothing googling on that either.
Methinks he needs a lesson in providing appropriate advice or he could confuse someone else who isn't aware of this forum. When I joined, I needed a name. The forum members gave one to me...I am INAN

Hi Angie

Don't know how the bank man thinks a Notice of Correction would change anything though as it's just a note on the record isn't it, doesn't wipe BR or anything else? When I joined, I needed a name. The forum members gave one to me...I am INAN

True, it actually mentions this fact on the page the link is to, and recommends that you contact both Equifax and Call Credit as well.:pB&SC No. 298

Hmm I notice as well the "experian" rep who posts here regularly is suspiciously quiet...We all die. The goal isn't to live forever, the goal is to create something that will0
