I doubt it, maybe after the anticipated Feb / March hike to 5.25%

I was wondering if Yorkshire BS are planning to increase any of their rates. I would have thought that they would have made any changes by now, as most other banks and bs's have certainly done so.

Personally I'm hoping that their online ISA rate will increase from 5.15%, as I want to do a transfer, and I've been considering them. Have any existing Yorkshire customers heard anything please?

No nobody had heard anything. When something is announced it will be announced for one and all to see. Keep checking their website and moneyfacts and when they announce it these will be updated.

My guess is that they will adjust savings rates after the next BOE interest rate announcement.

I opened one of these accounts this morning. The customer service assistant told me that the rates would be increasing this weekend - no actual figures metioned though.

be nice if it went up to 6.75% or even 7% yes 7% sounds better that will do.

I have the YBS internet saver account, can I use this monthly to fund the RSA .Can someone explain how? I`ve read post where this is achieved with the Halifax Web saver - to - HRS.

Yes, you can. Please see this thread here for more info. Refer to post 5 onwards.

You need to get your RS added to your YBS online profile and then you can make transfers from your internet saver to it. Though there is a 1 day delay on the payment arriving in the RS, e.g. payment leaves the internet saver on Monday and arrives in the RS on the Wednesday.
