Ryanair Flight Change - Error Message

I have booked flights with Ryanair and want to change the date but keep the same destination. Their website says I can do this but when I try to change them via the manage my booking link it keeps coming up with an error message 'an error has occurred please try again later'
I have been trying for over a week and have tried to contact Ryanair unsuccesfully on 5 or 6 occassions.
Does anyone know what I am doing wrong or is this just another way of Ryanair stopping people from changing flights even though they say you can?

What number are you calling them on? I have never had a problem getting through.
Can you elaborate on the other ways that Ryanair try to stop people from changing flights?Gone ... or have I?0 -
I am calling 0871 246 0000 - They charge £100 to change a name on a flight which puts most people off and they usually end up booking new flights instead rather than pay £100 each - also you have to change details for all passengers even if only one person wants to change their details. If you want to do anything different it tells you to contact their reservation centre which I have never been able to get through to. (reading on the web - rarely anyone else gets through either)Emergency Fund £1000/£10000

why bother to reply if you have nothing useful or helpful to say.................I was only asking for help as to why I was getting an error message when trying to change my Ryanair flights - why don't you see the point in that? I am new to this site and don't think I will bother coming on here again.

Well you will have to keep trying to contact them.. unfortunately there is no Ryanair Company respresentative on this website so your only channel of communication in order to resolve your issue is via ryanair.com or the relevant call centre.
And no, its not a scam before anyone mentions one.0 -

0035312480856 I usually use this no and have never had any trouble getting through. I can't help on the website as Ive only ever bought flights less than £100 which have not been worth changing. I had trouble when they changed the site about 2 weeks ago called got through right away and they were very helpful.0
