Dora, welcome aboard.
Please don't be so hard on yourself, I know it's easy to say, but nearly every person here is or has been totally overwhelmed with their debts. You are in the right place for the best help you can possibly get now. Peeps here are brilliant - whatever you need, even if it just emotional support if you want to rant or to cry.
But at the end of the day Dora it is only money, a problem to be sorted, your kids need you with them, go see your GP and please keep posting here - we are all your new extended family and we will be here for you I promise.

Please don't even consider this, it's just money.
There is so much help around here that will hopefully give you more confidence in getting this sorted. You have taken the first and biggest step, just continue this journey to being debt free.Disclaimer: Any spelling mistakes or incorrect grammar is purely coincidental and in no way reflects the intelligence of the author.0 -
Dora, I ditto, Johnin debt.
You have to keep telling yourself ...
IT'S ONLY MONEY. WHAT'S THE WORST THAT CAN HAPPEN?
Really, be honest, what is the worst? You may be declared bankrupt, you may move into alovely rented home, in which if you were to becom eill/unable to work for any reason, you rent will be paid.
You will still have your beautiful family, you will not have creditors harassing you. You will be able to breathe easier, and start again.
We owe in total, about £94000. This includes our mortgage. We are unable to remortgage due to DH's spinal injury. Believe me, the sleepless nights and palpitations and panic attacks are really hard to cope with. Creditors sure don't make it easy to cope either.
But, read thsi board - people do cope, and they help one another with their own stories.
Come on, you can do this, you can get through this - I promise.
If you really feel suicidal - not just the panic when faced with the situation, please get to your GP. Please.
You must have some sort of cooling off period regarding your plan. Call Payplan/CCCs or get down to CAB, they'll all help you, without judgement, or condemnation. Honestly, they'll also help you to see that there is a light at teh end of the tunnel.
Remmeber, their advice is FREE. They have no financial interest in you taking any course of action, so the advice will only be of benefit to you.
Chin up pet! Let us know how you get on. And when you feel low, get yourself on here, share your feelings, many of us know exactly how frightening it all is. And browse other forums, you'll find friends sharing a joke or funny story too, to help keep your spirits up.I ave a dodgy H, so sometimes I will sound dead common, on occasion dead stupid and rarely, pig ignorant. Sometimes I may be these things, but I will always blame it on my dodgy H.
Sorry, I'm a bit of a grumble weed today, no offence intended ... well it might be, but I'll be sorry.0 -

Morning dora
im back
Ok, before we do anything what we need to see if a SOA.
Have you done one before?
If not have a good read of Southern scousers sticky "first time posters"
We need to see
what debts you have
what APR they are at
where you money goes- every single bill, expense, the lot
Look to the top of your page you will see martins budsget planner. i recommend you open this on your PC to have a look at all the sections.
It includes, food, newspapers, clothes kids schoool trips and literally EVERYTHING
Also your income, whos in the household who earns what?
Once you have done this we can start to make a plan with you
Dora Ive been here since March. And I have loved being part of this community so far. I have seen literally hundreds of people come ask for advice and go. I dont know how they are doing. Many many people stick around, get support and I cant think of a single person who is doing worse now than they were when they came. Even if life deals you a duff hand ( im having a carp time at the mo as Im off work sick and not being paid) I have learned how to cope- I feel calm becuase Im in control.
You can get in control, but we need that SOA ladyso off you pop. Once youve done it we can all show you ways to cut back your expenditure and TAKE CONTROL

xx:beer: Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast :beer:0 -
Hi Dora - I've PM'd you back.
Hope you are feeling a little better today, I'm on anti-depressants at the moment so can understand how you feel.
If you can list all your income and outgoings we can all help you.0
